Chef Len Visits Mission Thrive Summer

What’s the right way to butterfly a chicken breast, so it comes out thin and even? The expert, Chef Len King of McCormick & Co., showed participants of Mission Thrive Summer how to get it done.



For six weeks this summer, these aspiring cooks are learning by doing. Today, the supportive presence of Chef Len lets them know there could be a professional future in it for them.





He'll come back to Real Food Farm on Friday, August 1, to judge the 2014 Mission Thrive Summer Final Cook-Off, a chance for students to show off the skills they've honed.
