Mission Thrive is a set of innovative program models created by Institute for Integrative Health and its partners to empower youth, families, and communities to make lifestyle changes that will support their health and well-being.
Institute Scholar Frederick Foote, MD, heads the Green Road Project, the nation’s largest healing garden at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Foote presents at Project Earthrise this 20-year effort to incorporate whole-body medicine and holistic care into the U.S. military’s health system.
The theme of the event, Project Earthrise, challenged us to imagine a better world, and to pose fundamental questions about how we live on our planet, how we see ourselves, and how we treat others.
In an effort to bring awareness to the Green Road and other natural healing gardens, we invite you to share this short film. We would also like to know your thoughts on this wonderful project. Please take a moment to share this video on social media and to comment on our Facebook post below.
