Yoga for Anxiety and Depression

Yoga can be an effective tool to soothe the anxious mind and tame the effects of chaos that so many people experience in their daily lives.  Health professionals will learn about various mood disorders and the relationship between the brain, body, and emotions.  Practitioners will practice mood-enhancing yoga techniques, which can be used in both a personal and clinical setting, for mood stability and reaching optimal mental health. 

The workshop will teach professionals the latest research on mindfulness and its effect on the brain, body, and emotions so they can assist clients dealing with emotional distress.
