Learn How Food and Lifestyle Can Optimize Your Genetic Potential

The Institute for Integrative Health is excited to announce our annual Healthy Happy Hour will take place on July 25th from 6-8 pm.
Enjoy complimentary food and wine followed by a wellness talk by Chris D'Adamo, Ph.D., the director of research at the University of Maryland Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. D'Adamo will discuss how food and lifestyle choices work together to optimize your body's genetic potential.
Participants will have the chance to learn more about our upcoming classes and events while enjoying complimentary wine and food pairings.
6 PM-7 PM: Mingling and Happy Hour
Guests will spend the first hour of the event enjoying wine, beer, and appetizers. Participants will also have a chance to learn more about the Institute and preview our upcoming classes and events.
7 PM-8 PM: Presentation by Chris D'Adamo, Ph.D.
Join the Institute as we welcome Dr. Chris D'Adamo to the Wellness Stage. Dr. D'Adamo will discuss how to optimize your genetic potential with food and lifestyle changes. Guests will:

» Understand the two concepts of nutritional genetics - nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics.
» Recognize how epigenetics means you have a genetic predisposition to disease... not a genetic fate!
